Waggener Edstrom Worldwide Hires Xavier Latil as General Manager In France

APPOINTMENT ENHANCES DIGITAL AND MOBILE CAPABILITIES ACROSS EMEA

Seattle, WA - June 23 -  Waggener Edstrom Worldwide (WE) today announced the appointment of Xavier Latil as general manager of its Paris office. Latil brings 12 years of marketing experience to the agency with an impressive career spanning a wide range of marketing roles. Latil comes to WE from the strategy consulting firm and digital agency Novedia Group, where he created digital campaigns for Orange, Nestlé Waters and Warner Music Group.

Throughout his career, Latil has worked with leading telco operators in France and abroad. His work includes creating and launching data and entertainment services for Tigo in Africa and driving Orange’s online approach to customer acquisition through affiliate and search marketing, portal development, and search engine optimization.

“Xavier’s expertise in mobile and digital communications will enable WE to expand our product and services offering to deliver integrated communications campaigns,” said Chris Talago, executive vice president and general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at WE. “In addition, his consulting experience in strategic communications for French and multinational brands will benefit our clients in France and the wider EMEA region.”

Since its inception in 2003, WE France has built an impressive client base across health, technology and renewable energy sectors for clients including GE Healthcare, Green City Energy and BMC Software.
